VAT and Shooting OMNIS acts for the owners of one of the UK's premier Grouse Shooting Moors. HMRC has recently targetted country estates and many landowners have received large VAT assessments in respect of tax under declared on shoots. However, it appears that HMRC's hardline policy masks a lack of understanding of the sector.
